Who are we?

With more than 2.2 million supporters, activists and volunteers in over 150 countries, and complete independence from government, corporate or national interests, we work to protect human rights worldwide. Our vision is of a world in which every person - regardless of race, religion, gender, or ethnicity - enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards. Our chapter @ USD works with the campus and community to further this goal through education and activism.

Raised over $400 for the "Rebuild Sudan through Education." The money went to help build a school in Southern Sudan, create water well(s), and for the school to purchase a corn grinder. Many of the girls are not able to attend school, because they have to grind corn by hand. With the corn grinder they are able to drop off their bag of corn at school and once their done learning their corn will have been grinded for them.

Hosted the speaker Moses (a 'Lost Boy')
He promoted the program "Rebuild Sudan through Education," because we were raising money to build a school for his home villiage.
Hosted the film "God Grew Tired of Us."
Help bring awareness of 'Lost Boys.'
